Who Rocked It?
I love this dress. This Dolce an Gabbana confection looks good in any color. But, does it look good on anybody? You tell me. January Jones wore this gown in ivory on the red carpet. She carried it off with an up-do, designer bracelet and a clutch. Penelope Cruz wore the same gown to a different red carpet in black. She too sported an up-do but kept it simple accessory-wise and let the dress have the spotlight. Both ladies looked glam but, who rocked it?

Isaac Literally
Isaac Mizrahi has been called the king of real-world chic. Taking that title and running with it, he's written a book. The title, How to Have Style, is fitting. As a twenty-year veteran of the fashion industry, he shares his style rules on everything from boots to bags and skirt length to the right undergarments. Mizrahi puts his approach to looking great on full display. There's a fashionista in every woman and Isaac seems intent on helping you find it. Rule #1 for Isaac - all women should wear what inspires them. I can get behind that 100%.

Reese's Pieces
I just had to show off some pieces from the most recent collection of Tracy Reese. She's been a favorite designer of mine for a while for her dresses. They are so pretty and remind you that you're a girl. I may be a little biased because we share a hometown, just maybe. The inspiration for this collection is post-impressionist portraiture. She drew from artists like Vuillard, Van Gogh and Modigliani and their use of color. This season was a tough one for the designer who recently lost her mother. She dedicated her New York show to mom.

Kelly says Oui!
Kelly Rowland is one smooth operator. Every now and then I read about something great that she's a part of, it's never hugely publicized but this glam girl does a lot of good. Her latest venture is all about S-E-X! Get your minds out of the gutter, it's all for a good cause. Kelly has teamed up with the Body Shop and MTV to make a difference and get the message out about safer sex. When you buy Tantalising Lip Butter at the Body Shop you let your pout support the cause of HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention. How does this all work? Well, hit up the Body Shop for the Lip Butter and the $8 you spend on it goes 100% to the Staying Alive Foundation! The charity's mission is to save lives through empowering young people around the world to protect themselves and their communities from HIV/AIDS. Kelly Rowland is the ambassador of the Staying Alive Foundation.

Idol Baubles
People always have something to say about American Idol judge Paula Abdul... here's one more. She gift the contestants of the hit show with pieces from her self-designed jewelry. You thought I was going the gossip route, huh? Well now you can get your hands on the these baubles. Abdul has teamed up with the Home Shopping Network (HSN) for her jewelry and accessories collection. The line is called "Forever Your Girl", feel free to insert comments here. The line hit HSN in December 2008. The current collection just consist of jewels and accessories but, Abdul has plans for expansion into fragrance and active wear. While I'm a fan of the piece above, the best part of this whole endeavor is its affordability. Prices range from $30-$80.

Kanye's Kicks
I told you before that Kanye West was designing shoes for Louis Vuitton. We only had a glimpse of the line before, check it out now. These are just a few of the sneakers they're putting on the market. They look decent enough but, it's the price tags that has me at a standstill. From top to bottom let's run it down. The top pair will retail for $1140, the next for $990, third goes for $960 and the red sneaks are $870. Kanye has always been known for his ego, maybe they figured they'd make the prices to match.

Barbie Dumps Ken for Uncle Karl
What happens when you bring together one of the world's most famous designers and the world's most famous dolls? Magic! Karl Lagerfeld is making Barbie a fashion icon. In honor of her 50th birthday Mattel is introducing the doll into the fashion industry.
This month, Barbie and Ken will be on display at France's Colette boutique. This isn't just any fashion introduction, they've brought in Mr. Lagerfeld to really do it up right. He's dressing the dolls that will be displayed in the windows of the famed Paris boutique. The exhibit will be on display for a few weeks this month. For one week they'll even have the original Barbie and Ken dolls on display. Let's get to the clothes, what will they be wearing? Barbie will be dressed by the designer in everything from dresses to swimsuits, jeans, and even a Chanel suit. Barbie, that's on fabulous makeover!
Freedom Fashion
Picture this, you're seated and ready to take in the fabulous fashions of one of your favorite designers, then something happens. Something unexpected makes its way down the runway. I'm guessing that was the scene on the sidelines of Jean Charles de Castelbajac's fashion show in Paris. His, er, unusual designs featuring Muppets characters, hit the catwalk and had heads turning and tongues wagging. Ah, isn't fashion fabulous?

Halle Smells
Halle Berry has been working on her own fragrance for YEARS. Now, it's finally here. Her ads made their debut in this months Essence magazine. The ads will hit other magazines in April. The star was apparently involved in every aspect of the process. She describes her fragrance as sensual that men will notice and women will adore. The fragrance will retail for $17 to $35. Seems pretty budget-friendly for an Oscar winner. I may have to give it a try.
