Natural Goodness

I have been searching around for something to give my friends who are expecting a little bundle soon. I’ve come across many products that I’ll definitely stash away. I have one more to add to the list. Korres has a new product aimed at the mommy-to-be set. It’s an almond and avocado anti stretch mark cream. It’s filled with good stuff like shea butter, sunflower, almond and avocado oils and vitamins. They tout their ability to prevent stretch marks. It’s also supposed to make it 30% easier for your skin to return to its initial state after using the product twice a day for 3 months. That seems easy enough. While I’m not a mommy-to-be this is good to know in advance. I’ve talked about Korres before. This company makes all natural products that are good for you and good to you. I’m already addicted to their lip gloss and lip butter. Their almond and avocado anti stretch marks body cream will be added to the baby shower bag of goodies.

Give Good Face

I don't know what it is about birthdays but, my last one got me thinking about aging. It didn't hurt that I strolled right into a demonstration of anti-aging products! While cruising Bath & Body Works for a nice fragrant body cream, I was confronted with the realities of wrinkles. Did I mention that I had only turned THIRTY! I was so very skeptical of every fact the demonstrator threw my way. Then, she did the demo on my hand. She used these products by Patricia Wexler, M.D. The Dr. is a dermatologist out of New York and she's created her own line of products. The demo was done on my hand and I have to say the difference was amazing. She started with cleansing and exfoliating. I was hooked. Looking from one hand to the other the difference was SO clear. My left hand was smooth and supple and seemed to have plumped up. The other seemed a little dry and in need of attention. I thought if it does that for my hand, I need it for my face! What happened next? I grabbed a starter kit of the products and headed straight to the checkout. I have since been using the products for nearly a year and the hand demo wasn't a fluke! My skin has been consistently smooth and dewy. To top it off the moisturizer is packed with SPF 30! Love it!

What a Girl Needs

Hitting the road this summer? It can be a challenge to get all a girl needs into the luggage without making a mess. This set from Clinique makes it a little easier. It includes regular and travel sizes of facial cleanser, clarifying lotion and moisturizer. You can get all you need in one chic little floral pouch. Now getting all of your shoes to fit into that overnighter.... that's a whole other issue.
