Shoes or Stilts?
No, you're eyes are not playing tricks on you. But, your feet might if you strut around in these for too long. I'm all for creativity in fashion but, I'm not sure I could pull these off. These skyscrapers made their way down the runway in Paris in the Nina Ricci show. Once you slip these on, you are about eleven more inches off the ground. My guess is if you're above 5'2", these may work for you but, if you're average height or more, tread lightly... seriously!via dlisted.com

New Year's Anyone?

It's that time of the year... Holiday parties will be in abundance. While the parties at the office are being cancelled left and right. Your calendar is still filling up with places to go and people to see. Add something like this to the things to get list. This stunner is from Giuseppe Zanotti. It shows off a satin strap with a metallic fish vamp. The crowning glory is the head of the fish. It's filled with crystals. The wood heel provides the perfect contrast. When I saw it, I thought it whispered "come get me." Hmmm... not sure. I'd love to strap these around my foot for a New Years get together but I'm sure I have a bill that needs to come first. Again, I'm awakened from my daydream... darn that whisper.

Oh So Posh...

Only our girl Vikki B. would be brave enough to don these sky scrapers. The above pink leather shoe looks like more of a weapon than footwear but to Posh... I'm sure they are works of art. From the looks of her feet, they seem a little bit painful. It's alright though, beauty is pain! As for the black patent leather stilettos she's rocking... the pencil think heel would definitely keep me away. That's got to be six inches of metal holding her up. I think her name should be changed from Posh Spice to Fearless Spice. Taking risks like these is what makes her a Glamazon! Photos: dlisted.com

Slam-O the Camo?
I'm all for being down with the troops. I'm as patriotic as the next girl, I promise. That being said, when one of my fave shoe designers added camo to the mix... I was speechless. While I am a big fan of any and all things Manolo I'm not sure about this shoe. Odd thing is the more I stare at it, the more I can see myself rocking it. I guess that's the point of camouflage... somehow it just blends in. I think I may actually like these now... how's that for flip-flopping?Photo:bergdorf goodman

Funky Shoe Alert!

I love, love, love these funky patent leather stunners from Manolo Blahnik! The black patent leather gives off rocker chick edge and attitude. These shoes can't help but demand attention! The red stitching around the vamp of the shoe sass them up even more. Let's not forget the lovely, sexy heel. Argh, I completely blame Sex and the City for my love of Mr. Manolo!
