Paris Fashion Week - Rihanna Edition

Rihanna hit the City of Light for fashion week. She worked some pretty interesting choices on the way to the shows. From Chanel and Dior to Givenchy, let's face it, this was virtually the Rihanna fashion show on the streets of Paris. She is getting deeper and deeper in to the fashion world. I would expect to see a clothing line from the Umbrella singer in the very near future.

Classic is Queen

I’m all for trends, I really am. But some things are classic. Some designers are known for churning our pieces that are instant classics. The house of Chanel is definitely on that list. From the iconic blazers to this string of pearls… they scream classic. I’d wear it with jeans and a crisp, white top, a LBD or anything I wanted to add some flair to.

Shot in the Dark...

The Chanel Cruise 2009 collection was a show stopper! The king of controversy, fashionably speaking, Uncle Karl strikes ahem, shoots again. The cruise line was the stuff of couture dreams. Pantsuits and dresses galore that screamed "buy me!" from the runway. The sky high shoes that would make any fashionista blush. The show stealer that left lips flapping were the shoes... the gun shoes. I'm all for creativity, but these took creative instinct to another level.
